25th Amendment. The 25th Amendment Act, 1971, gave authority to the Parliament to enact laws for Implementing provisions of Article 39(b) and 39(c) by inserting Article 31(c) in Part III of the Constitution of India. First part of Article 31(c) states that while enacting laws for the said provisions, such laws not be questioned for violation for Article 14 and 19 of the Constitution and the second part restricts the scrutiny of laws made under Article by the counts.
