Sulphur. Zinc is an essential micronutrient which means it is essential for plant growth and development, but is required in very small quantities. For the growth of plants, 17 essential elements are required, out of which 9 elements are macro nutrients and 8 elements are micronutrient. The lack of any one of these causes incomplete growth of the plant. Macronutrient elements:- Carbon, Hydrogen, Oxygen, Nitrogen, Phosphorus, Potassium, Magnesium, Calcium and Sulfur. Micronutrients or trace elements:- Zinc, Copper, Manganese, Boron, Molybdenum, Chlorine, Nickel and Iron.
