E.R.(Endoplasmic Reticulum) show Ribosomes attached to their outer surface. The endoplasmic Reticulum bearing ribosome on their surface is called rough endoplasmic reticulum (RER). In the absence of Ribosomes they appear smooth and called Smooth Endoplasmic Reticulum (SER).
