According to Article 331 of the Constitution, the President may, if he is of opinion that the Anglo Indian community is not adequately represented in the Lok Sabha, nominate not more than 2 members of that community to the Lok Sabha. Note- In January 2020, the Anglo Indian reserved seats in the Parliament and State Legislatures of India were discontinued by the 126th Constitutional Amendment Bill of 2019, which was enacted as the 104th Constitutional Amendment Act, 2019.
